The Building Preservation

Building restoration has been underway at Fort Chadbourne since 2001. Six buildings have been totally restored, along with all others stabilized. The buildings are furnished and available for tours.

Touring the Grounds

After you have seen the Visitor Center, please tour Fort Chadbourne! Step back in time as you walk through the restored buildings and view ruins of the original structures.

This historic site is still a work in progress. Please do not pick up the artifacts, and please do not stand on or go inside any of the ruins. We appreciate your interest and hope you have a 
wonderful time at Fort Chadbourne.
