Thank You Fort Chadbourne Volunteers!

The Fort Chadbourne Foundation would not be where it is today without the volunteers that  graciously worked long hours with little more than a thank you. We could never list each individual that  sacrificed their days and evenings to help us with archeological excavations, restorations, Fundraisers, or anything else asked of them. Our appreciation to each and everyone of you!

excavations, lab work, and cataloging while promoting what we do at Fort
Chadbourne. We could never have made this journey without them.

SMARTS

(Special Military Active Retired Travel Club)

The SMARTS were a retired military group from Oklahoma and Texas. For many years, they  volunteered approximately two weeks each March to work at whatever jobs they were asked to do. From helping with  archeological excavations, building and painting, helping with restorations, to general maintenance, they were   there.  Although the group has since disbanded, they will always be a special part of Fort Chadbourne! Our appreciation to each and every one of them.
